An ordinance to set vehicular traffic speed limits in the City of Reading, Michigan.

THE CITY OF READING ORDAINS:

The speed limits shall be as follows:

On North Main Street between City Limits and Center Street shall be 40 m.p.h. Between Center Street and Elm Street shall be 30 m.p.h. Between Elm Street and South City Limits shall be 40 m.p.h. On West Elm Street between South Main Street and Ridge Street shall be 30 m.p.h. Between Ridge Street and West City Limits shall be 40 m.p.h. On Michigan Street between Main Street and the railroad tracks shall be 30 m.p.h. Between the railroad track and the East City Limits shall be 40 m.p.h. Speed limits on all other streets shall be 25 m.p.h. Penalty for violation will come under the Michigan Uniform Traffic Code.

Ordinance to become effective thirty (30) days from this date.
