An ordinance providing for water use charges to be charged
to premises served by the Reading Water System.
THE CITY OF READING ORDAINS:
That the water use charges and service charges to be charged
to premises served by the Reading Water System shall be as
prescribed in the following schedules until changed from time to
time by resolution of the City Council:
Water Use Charges
Editor's note--The water use charges, as amended by Ord. No.
40, adopted Dec. 11, 1979; Ord. No. 61, adopted May 7, 1985; and
Ord. No. 63, adopted Dec. 9, 1986 are not printed due to
frequency of change. The current charges are available in the
office of the City Clerk.
Special Rates
For miscellaneous or special services for which a special
rate shall be established, such rates shall be fixed by the City
Council.

Repeal. All ordinances, resolutions or orders, or parts thereof,
in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are to the
extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
Effective date. This ordinance shall become effective on October 1, 1978 following publication pursuant to Charter, it being declared an emergency ordinance and necessary for the public peace, health and safety.
